| The Barn In the distance, the morning mist rises from mountains performing their daily chore. Distant in thought, she recalls the gazes and touch of the man who made her heart soar. She clings to the edge and leans from the door as a cool autumn breeze fondles her hair. She imagines the night they chose to explore; the butterflies dance and dreams fill the air. The loft feels alive; it seems to prepare to witness the birth of her womanhood. She'll melt with his kiss, her soul she will bare; love promised forever--she knew he would.
